Siete pescadores somalíes que fueron atacados por piratas de su país ‘navegaron’ a la deriva y acabaron en la costa de la India después de más de una semana sin agua no comida.
Los somalíes contaron que fueron atacados el 24 de junio, cuando los piratas dañaron el motor de su barca y les robaron el equipo de pesca y de navegación. Intentaron hacerse a vela con un protegedor de sol de forma provisoria y se mantuvieron en vida por medio de recoger agua de lluvia y comer algas que se atascaban en el casco de la embarcación.
La distancia de la capital de Somalia a la ciudad india de Veraval, donde los pescadores tocaron tierra, es de más o menos 3.400 kilómetros, escribe metro.se. (TT-AFP)
